Matt Forrest is the Founder and Owner of Why Stop Now, LLC. Matt provides basketball training for players of all ages and skill levels. He attended Methacton High School in Eagleville, PA, and graduated in 2013. He played on the first Methacton state playoff team, averaging 11ppg, earning second-team all-league honors. After Methacton, he attended Cabrini College and the University of Mary Washington where he continued his basketball career.
As a Methacton senior, Matt set the single-season record with 72 threes made, garnering interest from local DIII schools. Throughout his college career, he led the league in 3-point percentage in two separate seasons (50% and 42%). It wasn’t until an injury in his senior season that allowed him to find his true passion in coaching and teaching the game.
Rich Dunham attended Pope John Paul II in Royersford, PA and graduated in 2016. After a prolific junior and senior season at PJP, Rich gained interest from many local DII and DIII schools. Rich made the decision to attend Gwynedd Mercy University where he had a great career. Rich started his career as a freshman and sophomore playing well, but it wasn’t until his sophomore summer that he made the decision to dedicate all he could to becoming the best version of himself. He and Matt spent early mornings, late nights, and weekends working on his game which led to him becoming one of Gwynedd Mercy’s best players ever.
Rich finished as Gwynedd’s 3rd all-time leader in points scored (1,605), 3rd all-time leader in assists (384), and 5th all-time in 3-point shots made (153). After his senior season, Rich decided to play professionally in Ireland, where he continued to have success. He played two seasons in Ireland averaging 9.5 ppg in his first season and 30ppg in his second.
Rich is now focused on teaching the game of basketball and passing on his experiences to kids that had the same passion he did!
